Modernization of lighting systems in the workshops
In early 2011, Altai-Koks started a large-scale project on modernization of lighting systems in production areas.
- The project involved installation of 15,343 modern lamps with high luminous efficiency.
- The capex amounted to about 1.83 million roubles.
- Electric power consumption was reduced by 11.48 million kW*h/year.
Replacement of tungsten lamps with energy-saving lamps for in-door and outdoor lighting, installation of light-activated relays and light remote control systems resulted in substantial savings.
21 million kW*h of electrical energy was saved at Altai-Koks. This volume of electricity is equivalent to annual consumption of 26 nine-storey buildings.
4.5 million roubles is saved annually at Altai-Koks from the upgrade of the lighting systems.
