Altai-Koks increases its social investments by 15%
In the first quarter of 2016 Altai-Koks invested about 68 million rubles in social programmes, which is 15% more than in 2015.
Altai-Koks’ social policy focuses on comfortable and safe working conditions, higher quality of medical care for employees and their families, regular sporting and cultural events.
Since the beginning of 2016 the company has invested about 20 million rubles in better working conditions, the purchase of special clothing, footwear and other personal protective equipment, as well as in health programmes for the employees. Over 19 million rubles were invested in the voluntary health insurance and additional pension coverage for the employees and in the sporting and festive events.
About 19 million rubles were allocated as bonuses provided for by the Collective agreement and Industry Tariff Agreement. The funds were also provided to pay stimulating bonuses to employees on anniversaries and other festive events as well as upon reaching retirement age, to cover additional holiday leaves for family reasons, to ensure financial assistance and additional payments for the recently delivered women on maternity leave for the period of 18 to 36 months, as well as to fund the youth programme and women's council events.
Over 5.5 million rubles were spent on catering services for the employees as well as the maintenance of the plant's catering facilities. About 4.3 million rubles were allocated to the retired employees of the plant to cover their monthly material aid, medical care in clinic and cultural events.
