NLMK Group appoints new Altai-Koks CEO
NLMK Group is pleased to announce the appointment of a new CEO at Altai-Koks.
Vadim Valyas, currently Director of Production at the site, will take on the role of CEO starting from 1st March 2022. He is going to focus on further operational efficiency improvements and coke and chemical production process development.
Pavel Lizogub who previously held the position of Altai-Koks CEO, o will be leaving the company.
Vadim Valyas’ Background
Vadim Valyas joined Altai-Koks in 1990. In 2002, he was appointed Head of Production Department. He has been Director of Production at the site since 2008.
Vadim is a graduate of the Kuzbass State Technical University, majoring in Chemical Technology of Solid Fuel and Carbon Materials. He is also a graduate of the Altai State University, majoring in Crisis Management and Economics and Business Administration.
