Altai-Koks supports the region’s residents
Since the beginning of the year, Altai-Koks has allocated more than 1.4 mln rubles towards charitable projects aimed at support of public initiatives. The funds were transferred towards the participation in territorial and municipal social projects, and assistance to sports organizations, theatre ensembles, and educational institutions.
Altai-Koks has also been one of the sponsors for major equestrian competitions for the Governor, Aleksandr Karlin’s, Altai Territory Cup which took place last weekend, on August 24th, at the Barnaul racetrack within the IIIrd round of the Large Siberian Circle competitions.
Additionally, Altai-Koks supports projects in the field of culture and art. Altai-Koks provided material support to the “Zazerkalye” town dance theatre which had the opportunity to take part in All-Russian show contest of children’s creativity “Metallinka – 2013”, and in regional dancing group festival “Firebird”.
One of the areas for priority is taking care of educatees of the Zarinsk orphanage, low-income citizens, seniors, and veterans. The plant supports the Zarinsk orphanage on an ongoing basis, providing funds for holiday gifts and vouchers for children’s vacations at the recreation camp. Altai-Koks renders targeted assistance to the residents of Zarinsk in need, and to senior, and veteran organizations of the town. Altai-Koks has helped its veteran football team in the payment an entry fee towards its participation in Barnaul Open Football Championship for veterans.
The plant assisted in the repair of a dam across the Chumysh river at the request of residents from the Starodrachenino village and nearby settlements. The Altai territory’s public organization of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR) received funds to arrange a young technicians contest. Altai-Koks also sponsored the kettlebell lifting tournament held in Zarinsk and an anti-drug campaign timed to International Day against Drug Abuse. The enterprise also does not neglect the needs of the Voznesenskaya Church.
During the flood of June 2014, the plant did not set itself aside from the region residents’ problems. It organized an aid collection point for the residents of flood-affected areas of the Altai Territory. The enterprise’s administration allocated funds towards purchasing of food and all basic necessities. Almost all employees of the plant responded to the call to support their neighbors through the difficult circumstances. Necessary warm clothes for adults and children, bedding, hygiene supplies, bottled water, and other items were collected in joint efforts.
